NEVILLE TWP., Pa. — A four-goal outburst in the third period propelled Blue to a 7-5 victory in the 2020 PIHL Class-2A All-Star Game.

Baldwin forward Keith Reed scored the game-winner with a blast from the face-off circle off a rush 5:45 into the final period.

Mars defenseman Hudson Finn started the rally with a goal from the point at 3:09 of the third period. Hempfield’s Trent Gray tipped home an Anthony Migliozzi (Montour) point shot just 24 seconds later to tie the game at five each.

That unit cashed in once again with 4:46 to play when Montour teammate Dustin Geregach tipped in another Migliozzi point shot. Gray also assisted to finish with three points.

“We couldn’t let [Matt] win and we couldn’t let him be the only on the scoresheet,” Gray said. “We kept working hard. The two assists, that’s not only me, but they guy’s I’m out there playing with.”
