2023/2024 TRYOUTS

The Middle School and High School hockey tryout schedule for the 2023-24 season is here. The tryout fee is $125.00/player. 

MS Tryout Schedule:

Monday May 15th:  

• 8:10pm-9:00pm 

Thursday May 18th: 

• 7:00pm - 7:50pm 

JV/V Tryout Schedule:

Sunday May 21st: 

• 6:00pm - 6:50pm 

Monday May 22nd:

• 8:00pm - 8:50pm

Thursday May 25th:

• 7:00pm - 7:50pm

Additional notes: 

• All players should bring a plain white & black jersey. Players will be assigned their jersey color and given a tryout number at the first tryout session. 
• Any player currently in the Hempfield Area School District that wants to play on one of the PIHL teams for the 2023-24 season must be registered before the spring tryout is completed. New students will be handled on an individual basis.
• Middle School eligible players are rising 6th-8th graders AND at second year Peewee or Bantam for the 2023-24 season. 
• PIHL rules prohibit more than 25% of the Middle School roster be 2nd year Peewee players (regardless of grade). 

All players must be registered to attend tryouts.
